Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for supporting Remember The 400. Whether you are making a donation to fund our youth initiatives or purchasing merchandise from our shop to spread the message, we appreciate your commitment to our mission.

Please review our policies regarding refunds for donations and returns for physical merchandise below.

Charitable Donations

As a general rule, all charitable donations made to Remember The 400 are final and non-refundable. However, we understand that errors can happen. We will consider a refund request for a donation if:

  • An error was made regarding the donation amount (e.g., you accidentally donated $100 instead of $10).
  • A duplicate transaction occurred due to a technical glitch.
  • The donation was made fraudulently using your payment information.

If you notice an error with your donation, please contact us within 14 days of the transaction date at contact@rememberthe400.com, and we will work with you to correct the issue.

Merchandise Returns (The Shop)

We want you to be completely satisfied with your RT400 apparel. If you are not happy with your purchase, we accept returns for refunds or exchanges under the following conditions:

  • Timeframe: Return requests must be initiated within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • Condition of Items: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unwashed, unworn, and in the exact same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with any tags still attached.
  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation email) is required to complete your return.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned:

  • Items marked as “Final Sale” or purchased at a clearance discount.
  • Gift cards.
  • Items that have been worn, washed, or damaged after delivery.

Exchanges

If you ordered the wrong size or received a defective/damaged item, we are happy to exchange it for the same item.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To start a return, please email us at contact@rememberthe400.com with your order number and the reason for the return.

Shipping Costs for Returns

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the item arrived defective or we made an error fulfilling your order. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of original shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you are shipping an item over $75, we highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether your refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please allow 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card issuer.
